Jim's career began working with German thoroughbred sports cars, servicing, repairing and tuning these sophisticated machines to the satisfaction of their discriminating owners.

Also playing a crucial part in Jim’s development as an automotive technician and tuner was his work on pushing the power envelope on Nissan GTR’s in the early to mid 1990’s.

As an aside, Jim also played a part in developing what was for quite some time Australia’s fastest front wheel drive, a Suzuki swift GTi- remember those?

This was ground breaking work for its time and helped establish Jim as a leader in his field and earned for him a deserved reputation as a first class tuner.
