Sunday 2nd of November saw the running of the Think Pink Charity Drift Day. An opportunity for the Drift community to raise money for breast cancer.
The Mercury Motorsport crew were kept busy all day, with water being used on radiators to keep them cool while passengers were loaded/unloaded. The drift runs were relentless, only stopping for fuel and tyres. Plenty of Federal Tyres were sacrificed, but it was all for a good cause. The Team at Mercury Motorsport were extremely happy to have attended the event and it was a great thrill for all involved to give people a close up view of what drifting is all about. I would also like to take this opportunity to those who have helped our team throughout the year and we are looking to improve on our results in 2009 with another big year including the 2009 Toyo Tires Drift Australia Series and many local events, like this one.
