EcuTeK to increase its feature range

EcuTeK If you own a late model WRX, STi or Forester XT then we have great news for - EcuTeK will be releasing some major software functionality upgrades very soon.

What are these new features? Well how about this:

Flat foot shifting which is triggered by the clutch switch at any RPM

Downshift throttle blipping (just like the new Nissan 370Z)

Per gear boost control

Anti lag which features controlling of the throttle, boost, timing

Map Switch of:

Fuel
Ignition
Ignition Correction
Wastegate Duty
Desired Boost
Cam Angle (on STI models only)

Display of map switching mode using the Check Engine Light flashing as a code to tell you which mode the ECU is in

3D Speed density (RPM vs MAP) replacement of Mass Air Flow 2D Map lookup

Launch Control (new for WRX and Forester XT)

The only bad news is that not all WRX, STi and Forester XT models are compatible with the new features. Whilst the compatible model list is not 100% definitive yet, these new features should be available for the following Australian models:

MY06 Forester XT
MY06 WRX
MY06 STi
MY07 Forester XT
MY07 WRX
MY07 STi
MY08 Forester XT
MY08 WRX
MY09 WRX

At this stage the MY08STi and the MY09 Forester have not been confirmed as being compatible for these new features, however we suspect that they will be and give an update as soon as it is confirmed.
