WHat;s wrong with your car? Its been for sale forever! I remeber aftermarket wheels that were great and maybe some suspension changes?

Hahaha,

That's a damn good question, I wish I knew!

I have been trying to sell it for ages, over a year now.

I've had a fair bit of interest, I've even had a few people go as far as coming over and taking it for a test drive, but no one wants to actually give me any money!

I think it's priced pretty reasonably and it really is in immacualte condition, it doesn't have a mark on it!

I sold the 19" Simmons wheels seperately a few months back. So I've got the original ones back on there with brand new tyres.

Getting keener to sell by the day if anyone's interested...

Would you part-out the towbar? [:I]

selling 2nd hand car is a bitch

Saw a 2005 3R with 15,000km premium and they guy asks for 33K and he tried for 6 months no buyer

I fitted the towbar myself and it was such a nightmare, I wouldn't want to take it off even if you offered to pay me full retail price.

I posted this after putting it on...

I was only tongue-in-cheek, Matt ;) I was looking for that link!

Best of luck trying to sell it, yeah? Looks damn schmick to me.

I swear I saw your old wheels on a WRX in Coolangatta last week. Is that a possibility?

It is a distinct possibility, I sold them to a guy with a WRX from Sydney a few months ago.

Right on!
I've seen a huge devalue in the cost of used Liberty GT's.
Thank goodness I bought mine with a good 7k off asking price at the time but even that advantage has been whittled away rather dramatically with today's market.

I'm keeping mine for some time. I know it will devalue, but the second hand value is worth keeping it.

They would make a great buy for anyone wanting a performance family car without the SS or FPV looks.

Hi mate

Have seen your Liberty as trying to sell my WRX on here too. Wondering if you'd be interested in this http://www.mrtrally.com.au/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=31782
plus cash adjustment. Just curious as I'm after something bigger for expanded family.

Kind regards

Stig

Stig,

I could well be interested, your car is pretty much exactly what I want to get when I sell mine anyway.

Whereabouts are you?

If you're in Sydney, I'll probably be up there one weekend in Mid to late January.

Mat.

Yes, Sydney. Happy to wait and see how respective attempts to sell are going in mid Jan. Feel free to call me when you know your plans. Stig (0404 861 303).

Hi Matt,

Don't want to get your hopes up, but I MAY be interested. Where abouts in sunny Canberra are you? I'm in Yass. If the missus decides she wants it, I'd still have to sell my baby first too.

Funky,

I'm in Nicholls, just off the Barton highway as you come into town. Let me know if you want to come and have a look.

Sweet, might have to tee it up with the missus. At least she'd be able to drive it, AAMI won't let her drive mine cos of too many mods! Are the springs lows or superlows?

mathewcrago

They're lows, about 20mm at the front and 15mm at the back, GIO don't have a problem with them.
