CB70 gear box...??

What gear box is up to the little twin cam, turbo 3 cylinder CB70 motor ??...We fitted what we where told was a GTI box with bigger dia axles [ Applause fitted] and it broke second gear with ease...

was there any warranty on the box ? gearboxes are harder to find .most of us are fitting toyota starion power units they just bolt in

guess the easiest would be a 4.6 from a GTti gearbox. If you can get your hands on a second hand one from somewhere, you just need to swap over the crown wheel and pinion into the G201 gearbox.

If its possible to bolt Cb80 engine to the std cb23 box, surely it must be possible to bolt a cb80 gearbox to my CB60 engine?

-would there be much benefit in doing this?
-I already have a Gtti clutch and pressure plate in the std gearbox, would i have to modify anything to fit the GTti box in?
A 4.9 would be too hard to find nowadays (from a Turbo Diesel Charade) and a 5.5 wouldn't be too common either

does the gearbox bolt up to CB70/80 engine..

can you supply more details please...
