Hi new to the forum
My daughters Charade intermittently stalls when you roll to a stop at the lights. Does it when cold or hot. I cannot find a workshop manual for it so fault finding is a little difficult. I adjusted the idle a little higher but it hasn't helped. Put the check strap in and checked the timing which appears to be ok (white mark on pully lines up with white mark on block)
While the check strap is in it hunts at idle and even stalled once so i'm guessing there is problem with the manual idle control (without check strap it idles ok)
Can anyone give me some idea of what to test and how to sort this problem.
It is a 1997 1.3litre 4 cylinder Aus delivered model.
