Hey,
First time I've found it. Will checkout Daihard.org in a sec. I'm contemplating the Detomaso swap into my 99 1.5 Charade. Need more go!

Well I don't actually own one but my girlfriend does and I do alot of work on it. She does hillclimbs and sprints with it and it is a daihatsu gtti running a link wire in ecu with antilag and it goes quite well for a little three cylinder
[:p] Just about to get my hands on a 95 Charade with 1.3 litre G200 TS Manual, Extractors, Full custom exhaust (hi-tech mufflers), Mild Cams, Uni filter, Link piggy back, NGK Iridium Spark Plugs and sport cables and I can tell you that it FLIIIIES.!!
Didnt know about Diahard.org either but am checking it out now.
Does anyone know where I can get flared wheel arches for a 95 charade in the blue green colour that would match Detomaso rally front end..??[^][^]
There is only one V8 worth anything and its a JUICE..!
Yep sure do UFO.
Have a nice 99 Charade :P
There's no such thing as stupid questions, just stupid people
Not a charade, but a Daihstsu nonetheless.....
You know what it is!

MRT doesn't have a good rep with the Daihardians, mainly because of BS and prices, they know where to get the parts straight from the manufacturer, despite what MRT says they don't make all their stuff.
Its not that we think MRT is bad or anything, just overpriced and enjoy talking things up more than they are.

I'm in Sydney and I have a GTti.
I've never really have had a need to go to MRT.
I've gone to Project Racing to get any of my work done.

Hey ppl...
Im new to this place...and i found it to be very quiet. Why is this?
Im a Daihatsu fan, especially the G200 Charade. I have a 96 TS 1.3L with the basic engine mods, and full bodykit.
I also got a 94 1L 3cyl converted to a 1.5L 4 cyl from the F2 charade. Plus exhaust and extractors. All F2 mechanicals are running in it. It also has the later model interior. I like the power that the Charade produces. It leaves so many ppl in shock at the lights.
Any other charade owners in Sydney?
Who ever thought a Charade could go that fast? Daihatsu, that's who!
Guess there aren't many full on fans out there. I have owend 2 G11R's. Currently have one now but blew the damn turbo. Fun cars! Easy to do mods.
Want more power? Boost it!

What a waste fitting the 1.5L out of an F2 Charade!!! 66kw??? MAD! Not!
I wouldve fitted the Detomaso 1.6L engine with 90 something KW!

Thats true, but im not after a lot of power, and the F2 1.5L is enough for now....
And plus, i already had the F2 (written off) sitting in my driveway, and it didnt cost me anything.

Hey iam a charade owner from sydney
My condolences :D
If you're after performance parts, you could also ask at the Daihard.org forums, beware they don't like rice with a vengence. But they'll tell you where you can get parts straight from the manufacturer.

Hey Dia hards,
We just bought a 92 Diahatsofftoem G100 from an Israely back packer for $ 600.00. He drive it from Broome<s></s> to Melbourne, weve emptied some of the dust out to use it as a second car till the merc gets repaired (dont ask about the misses bingle)....any way shes kangaroo hopping like red dust wallaby, must have something to do with the carbie full of red dust, So while im emptying the dust out of her i thought i might treat her to a new dizzy cap and points. Does any one know the prescribed point gap?
Thanks

hey, shane from sunny coast, am in the process of rebulding a 1.6 to put in a g102.. have done fairly extensive mods like lightening and knife edging crank, shortened pistons, lightened rods, will either have 1300cc pistons(much higher comp.) or motorbike pistons.. am trying to make a set of quad throttle bodies but will be running in with standard.. if anyone is interested in outcome i will try to keep this updated so i can make these services available...cheers shane
